Question by TALLgirl: HELP!!! I Cant download anything…?
Everytime I hit download on anything it opens a new window to download but it closes automatically. I tried to download a microsoft program and no go …tried to download a yahoo game and no go… My internet explorer looks different too — there is no “tools” button anymore — I recently was having ISP problems and could not go online so I was advised to use restore and go back 3 months when my computer had no problems — this corrected the ISP issue and can now go online without any problems but…cant download a thing?? I dont know how to check firewalls and stuff like that — so please hold my hand and walk me thru….thanks !!!
I have DSL and no pop-up blocker is on — just in case I tried holding down the Ctrl key too…
ok looks like I have a virus — it is NOT letting me download ANYTHING — I can not even install Norton anti-virus — I had MacAfee but it deleted part of the program — so I uninstalled it to install norton 2007 but it wont load becasue I need to download a patch and I cant download it — grrrrrr
