Question by Anna J: does this sound like a good story?
on a cold winter morning, around 8:45 am a car was driving down the highway at 60 mph, this person is driving to the store for a home with no parents, just a little sister of the age of 7. this person is an older brother that has to get food for his younger sister. he pulls into a parking lot of a small store “ok james don’t screw this up you need to get food for your little sister hanna.” He tells himself before he goes in. he gets out and walks in the store. he goes down a hallway with food from wall to wall he grabs some caned ham and looks at it and looks around he sees no one. then he stuffs it in his pocket. he walks down and sees some mini cereal boxes. he looks at it. he grabs it and puts it in his other pocket. he looks around and doesn’t see anything that he likes or his sister and goes down another hallway he sees some bread and he puts it in his coat and zips it up. he sees a store clark “hey do you have anything other than food here i’m looking for a place that has some tools”"go down the street there is a tool store”"thanks” he walks out the door and goes to his car. “man only three things at least we won’t starve” he starts his car and leaves he gets back on the highway. he gets to a house with two windows in the front, a small drive way, a door with christmas lights on it, and with blue paint on the outside of the house. james pulls into the driveway and turns off the car. and walks inside “Hanna i’m back, Hanna where are you? Hanna?” he walks into the living rooms and sees blood every where “Hanna! where are you?” he walks through the living room into the hall and follows blood drops through the hall. it leads to his sisters roo a pink door was closed he opens it slowly. then he sees that the blood drops lead to the window he sees on the floor foot prints bigger than his sisters and then they stop at the window “hello anyone there?” he looks out the window and sees his sister “OH MY GOD” he runs out the back yard. “i’m 14 why do i have to deal with both my parnets death and what did i do to deserve this now my one and only sister.” he walks over to the body he starts to cry but holds it back. he goes inside and grabs the phone. “help some one broke in my house and killed my sister all there is, is a footprint in my sisters room.”"ok ok calm down tell me where you live and we will send some one to help you.” after he tell the guy where he lives he hangs up the phone and yells “WHO EVER DID THIS TO MY SISTER I WILL KILL HIM HE WILL PAY!”

I didn’t read much…just enough to get a feel.
I was wondering how old your are? (asking nicely:) )
No need to answer.
I think you have a good idea for a story but you need to learn a lot ow writing rules to make the story read better. There are a few places that provide some wonderful instruction to younger writers and I would highly recommend their teaching.
Don’t take this too much to the heart. Practice and critiquing as well as studying the craft will help you become a very good writer.
Go to the link on Writers Guild for info on classes or go to the magazine link to read some easy-to-understand writing rules you can start using now!
Blessings on your writing:)
