Customer Review:

But he worked on stone and ostrich eggs for individuals who have had the battery in the car and had to change one of these rusty bolts, and the only way to cut, to have a Dremel and relevant journals. Worked like a dream, but I installed a new battery! Order a flexible classes, so it’s easier to narrow the field, and it works so well on my boat. Worth the money.

use it on my dogs

I love this tool for grinding my dogs’ nails instead of cutting them. I find this tool to be much more effective for nail grinding than the dremel pet tool or the pedipaw. I like the variable speeds (I’m not restricted to two speeds), as well as the rechargeable base. I find this to be the minimum necessary to keep my dogs’ nails trim. If you have anything bigger than a 40 pound dog, I wouldn’t use anything less than this.

Seems to work well so far

I’ve only used it once for a small project and it worked well. Comes with a lot of bits but I wish it had more for a wider variety of jobs. I guess that’s why they sell the extra kits though.

I’ve never used a dremel tool before this but it seemed quite powerful for being cordless.

There isn’t enough space in the toolbox it comes in to hold all the tools properly. Had to purchase a smaller toolbox to keep everything organized.

Wonderful

This is a beautiful product. The kit should have been provided with an universal chuck or all the collets in the same price, then it would haven a great great products for hobbyist.

I like it better than the corded version

I don’t have much to say about this lithium powered Dremel. Battery lasts a long time, its light weight, and it has plenty of power just like the corded version.

I like this better than the corded because there isn’t a cord that gets in the way or causes you to not be very accurate.

The only down side is the case. It kind of looks like it was made as a generic case for multiple Dremel products but everything does fit securely.

Never let’s me down

I’ve owned this set for a few years, and there are many times when this tool is the only one for the job. It’s one of those things you should own if you do a lot of projects yourself. It’s good for a thousand different things, has a lot of power, and holds a charge for a long time. Never disappointed when I have to reach for a Dremel.

Verrrry handy tool.

So far I’ve used this tool to sand catches for wooden mosquito screens and knobs for cupboards. I’ve also used it for the main purpose I bought it, which is to grind down my dogs overly long nails.
I have two large thirteen (13) year old dogs, who are no longer as active as they used to be, and due to this, their nails were getting really long and therefore affecting the way they walk. I tried clippers which hurt them, emery boards, and even sanding by hand which took forever, but never I have achieved the results that this Dremel tool did in minutes.
I was a bit worried at first that the high pitched buzzing sound would scare them, but strangely enough, they ignored it and were very calm after they realised I didn’t have the clippers with me!
I used the coarse sand paper barrel attachment to do this.
Bear in mind however, you can’t leave the tool too long on each nail, or it will heat up and cause the animal pain. You also get quite a lot of nail dust.
After it’s initial charge, the battery has not lost power from the door knobs,to the catches, to all the nails of 2 dogs (including front dew claws). This is the first re-chargeable tool I’ve ever had that did not die mid-job. It still has all 3 lights displaying full charge.
I have no regrets whatsoever about buying this tool.

Dremel Tool

A small tool with a lot of power and uses. Great for DIY and professionals who want to do a good job.

This Tool Rocks!

I was looking around for a mini power tool I could use for my weekend hobbies. I didn’t want anything real heavy, just something lightweight, but still powerful enough to work on things like small arts and crafts for instance. After looking around a bit, I decided to shell out a few bucks and get this particular model- and boy is it worth every penny I paid for it!

Why? Well for one, it doesn’t have a cord. If you’re working on delicate figurines on a small table, the last thing you want to do is knock one of them over with the clumsy cord- but this model has solved that problem.

The other feature I like best are the lithium batteries. Lithium batteries mean you can charge the Dremel, use it, and then just put it down and let it sit around until you’re ready to use it again. Since I use mine only about once a week, I can vouch for the fact that this feature is worth its weight in gold. Trust me, cordless does NOT mean less power, and this is one tool that is not just for the guys!

Really great tool!

So far no problems with it. It does heat up, after long periods of use, but its not that bad and it hasn’t broken down yet. I’ve used it for half an hour to an hour straight. It’s that good.

I’ve used it for polishing up brass and cutting pipes. Its easy to handle. The speed control is very handy.

One thing I’d suggest when purchasing this, is to get a spare battery, because once you start working with it, you don’t want to put it down.

Q&A:

Question by RoboticGenitals: What should I do if the hole in my tire is too small to insert a “plug”?
Got a screw in my tire = slow leak.
Bought a Tire Repair Kit from AutoZone, which came w/ an “insert-tool” and “plugs” to– Well… PLUG said tire.
I cant get the tool/plug to go into the hole.
I HAVE already removed the screw, & the hole is small enough that the tire is still under pressure. I’ve also tried to plug it , with the tire deflated.
I have performed this type of repair before, & haven’t had any prob’s.
The hole seems to be too small.
Should I try to make the hole just *SLIGHTLY* bigger– just enough to get the plug in, so that it will still fit very tightly?
If so, what tool should I use to do so? would using a drill be ill advised to enlarge the hole?
